What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Deborah L. McCoy Behavior Analyst, Inc.?
MUST HOLD RBT CERTIFICATION OR CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COURSE: JOB = Working with people under 21 years of age - in home, in the community and in the school settings. Available times: days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Need a full-time person that is organized, about to follow direction and has experience (preferably) working with people that have special needs. Your job is to train parents and teachers how to work with individuals to help them have more success in their daily lives. We focus on reducing problem/unwanted behaviors and increasing positive/wanted behaviors. This job can be intense and there are times that a client may escalate from refusing to follow task demands and their daily routine to exhibiting physical aggression, property destruction, verbal outbursts and self-injurious behaviors (to name a few). This requires you to be able to follow a behavior plan and work under a behavior analyst to provide more positive outcomes for this individual. You need to have an RBT current certification, high school diploma, and be able to pass background screenings

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
