What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Debra Corn Foster Care?
A qualified case manager will have a Bachelor Degree, preferably in Social Work or a related field. Case Managers will work with foster families, foster children, the Department of Child Services and other service providers to obtain the best possible results for children in care. Case Managers will attend CFTM's, court hearings, IEP meetings, Provider Meetings and will at times transport the children on their caseload to these meetings, as well as to medical, dental and optical appointments. Case Managers are required to complete monthly reports, treatment plans and will be required to be on call for short periods of time.
Starting pay for a case manager with little to no experience is $43,000.00, however, this increases depending on the years of experience, specifically within the child welfare field and can go up to $51,000.00.
