A/R Cash Application Support Clerk- Cincinnati, OH

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

To best meet the needs of our Organization and Customers, the ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Learn and understand all functions of A/R Cash.
• Post ACH, Credit Cards, Lockbox and Mail Deposits received from customers into our Accounting Software.
• Ensure that the monies posted to accounts receivable equal the bank deposit.
• Accurately post weekly adjustments to accounts receivable.
• Research payments while working with other departments.
• Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Minimum 2-4 years of recent administrative support experience, Accounts Receivable and Cash Posting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to manage a fast-paced environment in an organized, efficient manner.
• Knowledge/experience within a Mechanical Contracting Firm is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and able to interact with all levels of the Organization with a positive, engaging, proactive and team-based style.
• Working knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulations and guidelines.
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, sometimes with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  
  

Computer Skills

• Excellent Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote and Excel)
• Experience with Accounting Software is a plus but not required.
