- Professes faith in Jesus Christ as his or her Savior and Lord, attends and is part of the community of a Protestant, Bible-believing church, and whose values and lifestyle are guided by his or her Christian faith.
- Has strong professional or collegiate references; teaching certification and experience in a school setting are strongly preferred.
- Understands the the subject matter well and possesses effective pedagogical approaches within the discipline.
- Exhibits creativity, strong organizational skills and is flexible, patient, and responsible.
- Exhibits strong communication and relational skills with students and adults.
- Encourages and cultivates spiritual growth in his or her students both inside of and outside of the classroom experience.
