Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in Decatur, IL is seeking experienced Full Time and Part-time Housekeeper Aides. The ideal candidate is available for an 8-hour shift from 7a-3p. $15 per hour. Must work every other weekend, both days.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper Aide :

Clean wash, sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures

Clean windows / mirrors in residents' rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms as well as entrance / exit areas

Vacuuming

Clean hallways, stairways and common areas

Keep supervisor aware of supply needs

Adhere to work / cleaning and deep cleaning schedules are followed

Other tasks will be explained during on-site interview

Ensure proper storage of supplies

Identify and correct any safety hazards

Requirements :

Requirements of the Housekeeper Aide :

Housekeeping experience preferred

Experience in a long-term care or healthcare facility a plus

Must be able to speak, read and understand English

Personable and professional with staff and residents

Must be able to pass a background check and be deemed eligible for hire by IDPH

Salary : $15
