Decatur Manor is seeking an EXPERIENCED Maintenance Floor Tech to join our team at its facility in Decatur, Illinois. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt) with an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities of the Floor Tech:
- Report all issues with floors to Maintenance Director
- Troubleshoot any and all kinds of emergencies or urgent repairs
- Maintain the cleanliness of all floors
- Assist with daily work orders
- Assure the proper maintenance and running condition of all Floor equipment
- Perform minor repairs and do routine maintenance
- Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces
- Adhere to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.
- Previous experience in floor maintenance and general labor strongly preferred (please show on resume this experience)
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or hospital preferred
- Must be compassionate, tolerant and understanding of older adults
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and be deemed eligible for hire by IDPH. Fingerprinting may be necessary for eligibility.
