What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/LPN position at Decatur Orthopedic Center?
As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
The MA/LPN will also room patients and obtain vital signs, input and or update patient data into the electronic health record. Diagnostic test ordering, charging/billing of medical procedures, placing casts, splints, cleaning the cast room, setting up and assisting with injections/aspirations, cleaning exam rooms in between patients and after clinic. Note prepping, disability forms, pulling lab results and ordering potential next steps, ordering supplies, stock DME room, maintain hazardous waste, synovasure kits and culture tubes and labels

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
