JOB GOAL:
Manage and monitor all aspects of the Extended Day Program for the Decatur Public School District.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the extended day program that includes curriculum planning, scheduling recreational programs, and ensuring compliance for nutritional programs.
2. Supervises and monitors site coordinators, facilitators, and other staff.
3. Works with a variety of community organizations and agencies to establish new and innovative programming.
4. Facilitates alignment of district curriculum, instruction, and professional development, technology, and assessment practices with Common Core.
5. Maintains a current and accurate record of all children eligible for services, and tracking program data. June 2021
6. Creates, negotiates, and manages vendor consultant contracts for all programs.
7. Recruits, encourages, and assists parents in accessing before school and after-school opportunities.
8. Coordinates with all schools and their staff with their after- school programs.
9. Plans, schedules, and/or develops professional development for staff.
10. Recruiting, interviewing and training staff.
11. Lead team meetings to discuss progress and maximize productivity
