- Accurate word processing, filing, bookkeeping, computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good public relations and telephone skills.
- Ability to work semi-independently, recognize priorities in work load, and shift from job-to-job as needed.
- Good organizational skills.
- Serves as receptionist in person or by telephone.
- Prepares, types, distributes and files correspondence, forms, bulletins, records, requisitions, and schedules.
- Receives, checks and processes materials, purchases, and school mail.
- Maintains and stocks storeroom.
- Handles bank deposits, petty cash, payroll, other financial records, building keys, and security access cards
- Maintains accurate records of building staff and cabinet meetings.
- Maintains accurate records for payroll.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Month position, Wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment pursuant to negotiated agreement.
CLASSIFICATION: C
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be
met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, to stand, to walk, to go up and down stairs, to operate foot and hand controls, to use a telephone and to write. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and objects, and providing oral information.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and a generally hazard free environment.
