Performs locate services for electric, fiber, gas, water, and wastewater systems in a safe and efficient manner.

- Locates and marks DU facilities, including Electric, Fiber, Gas, Water, and Wastewater system for contractors, sub-contractors, customers, and DU crews as required.
- Installs permanent line markers when appropriate to ensure the safety of facilities and customers.
- Documents locates through the use of web-based data entry, written reports and or photographs as necessary.
- Reads and interprets maps and work order assignments.
- Recommends process changes to improve the accuracy of locates.
- Performs maintenance and repair to locating equipment and assigned vehicles.
- Assists EGWWW operations crews with line locating when needed.
- Assists with Measurement Tech duties.
