Nurse Aide in Training / Non-Certified CNA Position Summary
The NAIT is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients under direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Their role also includes the following responsibilities :
Assure patient safety and provide care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and answer call lights.
Accurately document and chart on patient care.
Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Business Office Director, Prema Financial Solutions, or the corporate team.
Maintain confidentiality of protected information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Nurse Aide in Training / Non-Certified CNA Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled in a State-approved CNA program and able to work for a single consecutive period of 4 months. At the end of the 4-month period, the NAIT must meet the certification requirements to become a CNA.
CPR Certification (may obtain during orientation)
