Laminator Job Summary
As a Composite Technician, you will play a vital role in manufacturing composite aerospace and defense
components. You will need to apply advanced technical skills and knowledge to fabricate composite
parts using prepreg epoxy resins with carbon, fiberglass, Kevlar, and quartz fibers. The ideal candidate
will have experience in reading and interpre�ng work instruc�ons, specifica�ons sketches, planning
documents, and engineering drawings to meet customer specifica�ons.
Minimum Qualifica�ons:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with laminating advanced composite materials.
- Knowledge of releases, prepreg, resins, composite bagging, adhesives, and curing presses.
- Professional, confident, and articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- ERP/accounting software experience.
- Fabricate composite molds and parts to meet customer specifications.
- Take personal responsibility for workmanship and productivity.
- Attentively follow instructions and take directions.
- Proactively anticipate and solve practical problems.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
