Product Design Engineer
Deceuninck North America is seeking a Product Design Engineer for its North American Headquarters. The Product Design Engineer will design, develop, and manage multiple product development projects to meet customer requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Using the stage/gate method of project management, manage multiple design projects to ensure project timelines are met.
- Design and document fenestration and building product systems to meet customer requirements for performance and industry standards for code compliance.
- Interface with testing personnel to assist in the testing to industry standards to ensure product performance and code compliance.
- Track and communicate project status with external and internal stakeholders.
- Distribute all pertinent project information to internal customers.
- Ensure revision to product designs are documented.
- Work with outside suppliers to develop and document associated hardware and accessory components.
- Troubleshooting of technical problems.
- Develop product design proposals for the acquisition of new business.
- Attend industry association meetings.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 Years engineering level product design experience.
- Working knowledge of MicroStation CAD/CAM/CAE or similar software.
- Proficient in MS Office
Education:
- Associate's degree in engineering
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
