Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a professional for a W2 contract opportunity in Dearborn, MI. This role has the potential to extend over multiple years, with the chance to transition to a direct hire position with our client. Position Description
- Perform application development in an Agile environment using Java, Bash, MS SQL, Spring, Git, and Jenkins
- Participate within a product team to deliver valuable software in the Client's Native Cloud environment hosted within the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform
- Work with all layers of the application including web services (REST and Soap), cloud, database, infrastructure, and automated testing software
- Follow test driven development, behavior driven development, paired programming, and continuous integration and delivery
- Experience working with Rally to develop user stories that contribute to a valuable working software product
- Develop automated unit tests with working software to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop automated functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects
- Improve continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and improving quality gates based on past experiences
- Review ongoing production software operations and troubleshoot production issues; monitor application operation and performance metrics to manage application and identify failures in production

Support production issues as required and ensure applications are supported properly through minor enhancements, upgrades, and fixes. This includes off-hours support. Full Stack Back End Java Required. Hybrid position, would like the candidate to be onsite every Tuesday and more days as required. Looking for a SE Michigan candidate only.
