What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Develop the Quality Team: Manage and mentor the QC Supervisor and Inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Be the ISO Champion: Own and enhance our ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Prevent & Solve Quality Issues: Identify potential risks before they become problems, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Audit & Improve Processes: Conduct internal and external quality audits to maintain compliance and ensure best practices.
- Calibration & Compliance: Ensure all measurement instruments and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Set Quality Standards: Develop workmanship standards and ensure adherence across all production teams.
- Track & Report Performance: Establish and communicate meaningful KPIs to drive quality improvement.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with production, engineering, and leadership to enhance quality initiatives and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of Quality Management experience (manufacturing background preferred).
- 5 years in quality control/assurance in a sheet metal or machining environment.
- Proven ISO 9001 leadership experience—ideally from implementation to certification and maintenance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong problem-solver.
- A hands-on "roll up your sleeves" leadership style.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
