Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong understanding of garment construction. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and customizing garments to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your expertise will ensure that each piece fits perfectly and meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear.
• Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations.
• Assess garment construction to determine the best methods for adjustments.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their preferences and requirements.
• Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all tools and materials are in good condition.
• Keep up-to-date with fashion trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques.
• Experience operating sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
