Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Bookkeeping Specialist to deliver in-office bookkeeping services to our clients and contribute as a proactive team member. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional time management, accuracy, and communication skills. A strong background in General Ledger Accounting is essential , as our firm does not handle Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
Required Experience and Skills :
- Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
- Knowledge of Xero preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a focus on General Ledger.
- Strong expertise in Income Tax Basis General Ledger Bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients in person, via phone, and through email.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with various communication methods, including face-to-face, phone, and email interactions with clients.
