Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for data cloud projects, including migrations from Hadoop or Teradata to modern platforms like Snowflake or Google BigQuery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges and design scalable, efficient, and cost-effective data solutions.
- Manage large technology company accounts, ensuring successful delivery of services, client satisfaction, and account growth.
- Develop and implement data pipelines, transformation frameworks, and automation using DBT and other tools.
- Drive cloud adoption and data transformation strategies aligned with AI powered insights and business outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering teams, product owners, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams to foster a high performance culture.
- Continuously stay updated on advancements in the data cloud ecosystem, including Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AI solutions, and FinOps trends.
Requirements
15 years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or data analytics.
3 years of experience working with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or DBT.
Proven expertise in Hadoop or Teradata migrations and data cloud modernization projects.
Prior experience in an IT services organization (mandatory), in hiring and coaching top talents and proposal creation.
Experience working very large client technology customers (Fortune 500) will be nice to have.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and transformation frameworks.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer-first attitude. Preferred Skills :
Exposure to AI / ML solutions and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and FinOps.
