Overview
DecisionPoint is seeking a Database Administrator to support the Bureau of Reclamation supporting the Department of the Interior. The primary objective of this role is to provide the Bureau of Reclamation IT, Enterprise infrastructure operations support for a variety of IT infrastructure services including hosting installs, maintenance, and support of a broad range of systems and technologie. This role will manage consolidation of primary storage, host servers, and create plans for disaster recovery.
This position is on a hybrid telecommute model in Denver, CO.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide reliable,vsecure, state-of-art IT services in the area of virtualization administration, including overall support for current and new functions involving enterprise virtualization standards, enterprise VMware physical and virtual servers, and related activities.
- Install, maintain, and support systems in a data center, and cloud style environment or a virtual infrastructure within the Reclamation network. This includes a large group of network servers typically used by Reclamation for storage, hosting, processing, and distribution of large amounts of data or information.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain Public Trust.Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.Experience with the following :Disaster Recovery planning and preperation
