Contractor Project Coordinator - Administrative Assistant – Truckee/Tahoe Area
Location: Truckee/Tahoe Area

Are you an experienced Project Coordinator - Administrative Assistant with knowledge of Project Management, Estimating, and the local permitting process? Do you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and have knowledge of the Truckee/Tahoe area? If so, we want you on our team!
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project coordination, cost estimating, and permit applications within the Truckee/Tahoe region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and able to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Project Management tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
- Support Estimating efforts by gathering bids, preparing cost breakdowns, and reviewing project budgets.
- Navigate the local permitting process, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and submitting necessary documentation.
- Manage office administrative tasks, including emails, phone calls, and document organization.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain records, and assist with contracts and invoicing.
- Provide on-site and remote support as needed, with mileage reimbursement for travel.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in construction administration, project management, or estimating.
- Strong familiarity with Truckee/Tahoe building codes, permit requirements, and local agencies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MacOS, project management software, and estimating tools. Knowledge of Contractor Tools preferable but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
