Job Summary:

Set up and operate a group of machines, including performing quality inspection and minor machine adjustments.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

❑ Set up machines

❑ Operate a group of machines

❑ Perform quality inspections in accordance with policy

❑ Make minor adjustments and replace tools as indicated by quality inspection

❑ Make minor repairs

❑ Remove tools at end of run

❑ Inspect hoppers and chutes for mixed parts

❑ Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment

❑ Comply with policies, procedures, regulations and laws

Other Duties as Assigned:

❑ Assist set-up and repair person

❑ Minor changeover including but not limited to hole, tap and plug size

❑ Supply material for machine (in absence of utility person)

❑ Operate lifts

❑ Other assigned duties for which qualified

Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications:

❑ Read and interpret blueprints

❑ Read micrometer

❑ Read instructions

❑ Basic computer skills

❑ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

❑ Basic reading, writing and mathematics are required

❑ Completion of on-the-job training

Weightlifting or Other Physical Requirements:

❑ Ability to occasionally lift fifty (50) pounds

❑ Ability to stand for long periods of time

❑ Ability to climb stairs

❑ Ability to hear safety warnings

❑ Visual acuity

❑ Ability to manipulate hand tools

❑ Two-handed manual dexterity

Work Environment:

❑ Moving mechanical parts

❑ Vibration

❑ Loud noise level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
