Great schedule of Monday-Friday 1st shift 7am-3:30pm. On-call as needed.
$1000 Bonus for new experienced tractor/trailer Diesel Mechanic! $500 on first check, $500 after 90 days.
A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:
- Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology
- Processing work orders
- Accurately filling out necessary documents
- Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person
- Other duties as assigned
Diesel Mechanic Technician Must Haves
- Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces
- Paccar experience preferred
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic computer knowledge for email and work orders etc.
- Knowledge and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and procedures
Diesel Mechanic Technician Nice to Haves
- Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus
- Reefer experience is a plus
- CDL a plus but not required
