What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Caja Tech position at Deckers Brands?
The Role:
The Caja Technician is a support position. The Caja Technician position is also responsible for assisting in various daily responsibilities of Caja and Facility obligations as assigned by Caja Maintenance Leadership. This also includes but not limited to, pulling parts, cleanup, facilities duties, shop maintenance, clearing jams, cleaning floors.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team or autonomously to operate the Caja system.
- Under Supervision, Disassemble, repair, and reassemble robots and all robot components.
- Accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day, including searching and issuing parts, and documenting equipment issues. Then give that information to Caja Maintenance Leadership daily for review.
- Assist and support site evacuation as requested by Maintenance Leadership Team.
- Follow all OSHA compliance, Maintenance Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), and LOTO procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certifications:
- Highschool degree or GED
Work Experience:
- Warehouse Experience preferred
- Experience with basic hand tools including wrenches, sockets, and powered hand tools.
Skills/Competencies:
- Able to multi-task, follow directions and work under supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50-75lbs on occasion.
- Able to work at heights and in hot or cold atmospheres.
- Detail oriented, organized and capable of maintaining a clean clutter-free work area.
- Possesses an interest and willingness to learn.
- Mechanically inclined and capable of working with his/her hands.
- Ability to communicate in English/Spanish.
- Ability to work under pressure
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
- Manual dexterity required.
