Job Overview :
The Client Transportation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the well-being of clients by providing safe, reliable, and respectful transportation to and from treatment facilities, appointments, and other approved locations. This position requires compassion, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to client confidentiality and safety. This role is essential for facilitating consistent access to services, aiding clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities :
- Transportation Services : Transport clients to designated treatment facilities, medical appointments, group sessions, and other required destinations in a timely and safe manner.
- Client Assistance : Assist clients in and out of the vehicle, ensuring they are comfortable and safe at all times. Adapt to the needs of clients, especially those with mobility challenges.
- Safety Compliance : Follow all traffic laws and adhere to company policies regarding vehicle use, safety, and client care.
- Vehicle Maintenance : Conduct regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. Report any maintenance needs to management.
- Record Keeping : Document transportation schedules, mileage, client attendance, and any incidents or changes to the schedule. Submit accurate records to the supervisor as required.
- Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and adhere to all HIPAA and company policies.
- Communication : Provide timely updates to the supervisor and treatment team about transportation schedules, delays, and client issues that may arise during transport.
- Crisis Management : Respond appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure client safety and well-being.
