DeCook Excavating is looking to hire part-time or full-time drivers for the upcoming season!
Responsibilities :
- Transport material to and from various job site locations in a timely manner
- Communicate with equipment operators, customers and office staff to ensure correct product / delivery location
- Verify products requested and loaded for accuracy
- Verify weights to ensure equipment does not exceed weight restrictions or local laws
- Complete pre and post trip inspection of equipment, oil check, lights, wheels, etc.
- Clean / grease equipment on a weekly basis
- Maintain and complete truck logs, both paper and electronic
- Report equipment repairs in a timely manner
- Comply with safety policies and regulations
- Aware of overhead and surrounding obstructions
- Courteous in residential areas
- Maintain CDL and Health Card
