Lowboy Driver - DeCook Companies

The Lowboy Driver for DeCook Companies is responsible for moving equipment to and from job locations with a semi tractor and trailers. It is critical that the loading and unloading of various equipment is done safely and in a timely manner. This position pays $25-30/hour, based on experience and is eligible for a sign on bonus.

Responsibilities:

·         Loading/unloading equipment

·         Keeping track of equipment locations

·         Greasing and cleaning trucks/trailers

·         Ensures safety measures are always taken

·         Punctual time management with the ability to stay on schedule

·         Able to communicate with various employees

·         Maintains permits as needed

·         Maintains CDL, clean driving record and medical card

Physical Demands:

·         Getting in and out of the truck multiple times a day

·         Tying down equipment

·         Climbing up and down equipment on/off of a trailer

·         Sitting for long periods of time

·         Bending/crouching & squatting/kneeling

·         Work in all weather conditions

·         Lift/Pull/Carry up to 80-100 lbs

Requirements:

·         Must have a valid MN Class A CDL 

·         Must be able to pass a drug & background check

·         Must have a clean driving record with the ability to pass a MVR
