Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Shower Glass Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shower glass door installation and related construction skills. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial installations. The Shower Glass Door Installer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install glass in showers, windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications and blueprints.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Perform metal stud framing and drywall installation as needed for glass projects.
- Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to complete remodeling projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in shower glass door installation or a related field such as remodeling or maintenance person services.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, construction painting, and caulking techniques is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installations.
