Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, passionate and consistent Bartender/Craft Cocktail Mixologist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food/beverage and restaurant industry, particularly in a casual bar/club/restaurant setting, and possess the ability to craft exceptional cocktails while providing outstanding customer service. Experience within the hospitality and/or serving and/or sales industry is a plus! As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating innovative drink recipes, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that all beverages are served with the highest quality standards to our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and cocktail recipes to enhance the guest experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system: Toast; for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Exhibit strong time management skills to handle high-volume service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- 2 years of previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a bar/club/restaurant or similar environment is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is required.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with an interest in brewing techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
