We have a casual work environment that's Monday - Friday 6:30-3:30. No nights or weekends! Full paid benefits (UHC PPO Gold plan), dental, 401k matching, up to 5 weeks PTO and 10 holidays a year. $18-21/hr DOE plus yearly bonus based on year end profit. We don't accept insurance here so you will never have to deal with processing an insurance payment ever again. Must be good with customers on the phone. Most of our sales happen online or over the phone so phone edicate is a must.
Duties:
Take care of customers over the phone, assess their needs, and make best fit recommendations. Accurately measure, fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses. Order lenses with various labs. Familiarity with different lens styles, options, lens materials etc. Prepare and process patient bills and post-sales transaction. Assist with inventory management and preparation of orders. Verify lab orders to ensure correct specifications are met. Troubleshoot customer issues as they arise. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with patients and colleagues. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting eyewear that meets their visual and lifestyle needs. Explain lens options and features, including the benefits of various coatings, tints, and types of lenses to clients. Maintain accurate records of customer orders and prescription information in compliance with privacy guidelines.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an optician.
- Strong knowledge of optical products and lens materials Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient with optical equipment and tools, including lensometers and frame adjustment devices.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records.
- ABO certification.
- Ability to use multiline phone system and email.
- Computers skills a must.
