Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leading and managing projects focused on leveraging technology and data in our core operations processes. This role will specialize in creating analysis and systems implementations focused on Warehouse Operations and Delivery Logistics. This role involves analyzing data to improve warehouse efficiency and optimizing delivery processes to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Essential Functions:

• Project Management: Lead and manage logistics projects from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to warehouse operations and delivery logistics. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in warehouse and delivery operations. Implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, delivery personnel, and senior management, to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Technology Integration: Leverage advanced BI tools and technologies to streamline operations and improve real-time decision-making.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of warehouse and delivery processes.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance logistics operations.

Required Skills:

• Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, data analysis software, and project management tools.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and reports.
• Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, logistics analysis, and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Work Shift Requirements:

• Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
• Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick.  Voice mail or e-mail messages are not acceptable replacements.
• Use and maintenance of company-issued laptop and cell phone.
