Decypher invites you to join our professional team.DESCRIPTIONDecypher is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support Scotts AFB in ILRESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Governmentagencies for services.Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients andtheir family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan,identifying the patients problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills andassistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family andinterdisciplinary treatment team.Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocialtreatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic,cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diverse backgrounds.Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatmentprocedures. This includes acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses / injuries,common medications and their effects / side effects, and medicalterminology.Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families andgroups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical, and socialproblems to achieve treatment goals.Independently provide counseling and / or psychotherapy services toindividuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the boundsof the license or certification.Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs ofpatients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care andcompliance with treatmentThis job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
