Job Summary:
Dedicated Logistics Services is seeking a Fleet Maintainence Manager to manage and oversee the operational efficiency of 200-300 trailers within our freight brokerage network. This role ensures the seamless coordination of trailer tracking, maintenance, and repair while maintaining strong communication with carriers and lease owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and manage 200-300 trailers in the freight brokerage network.
- Coordinate emergency roadside repairs and recoup costs from carriers.
- Collect and organize pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports from carriers.
- Facilitate preventive maintenance schedules through trailer lease owners.
- Leverage systems like Trucker Tools, Extra Lease, BlackBerry, and Premier Trailer for tracking and reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of trailer status, repairs, and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with carriers and lease owners to ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Trucker Tools, Extra Lease, BlackBerry systems, and Premier Trailer preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in logistics, fleet management, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and manage multiple priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
