The Human Resources Representative plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resources initiatives. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations programs, policies, and best practices to ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Claims Management:
Process and manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee new and existing health insurance policies for both internal and external staff.
Provide guidance on company leave offerings, including FMLA, and track employee leave usage.
Employee Relations and Development:
Maintain accurate performance evaluations for internal staff.
Assist in implementing and updating organizational policies and procedures.
Record and address complaints and allegations professionally and accurately.
Conduct progressive discipline and performance improvement plan (PIP) meetings when necessary.
Training and Feedback:
Assist in developing and delivering company training programs and resources.
Conduct exit interviews and provide timely feedback to management.
Confidentiality and Professionalism:
Uphold confidentiality standards in all daily operations.
Office Operations:
Work onsite full-time unless otherwise directed by the Executive Team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional certification and experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Proficiency in operating office equipment and software.
Demonstrated ability to meet work performance goals and essential job functions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods.
Capability to move around the office, bend, and reach as needed.
Occasional ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Primarily operates within an office setting, with occasional duties outside the typical office environment as specified by the Executive Team.
Work Schedule:
-Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
-Friday: 8am-12pm
