Multi-Department Floater – Poultry Hatchery
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $17 /hour
Dedicated Services is looking for a Multi-Department Floater to join our hatchery team. This versatile role requires bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish) and will involve training across multiple departments, including the Egg Room, Hatch Crew, and Service Room. The right candidate will also hold Quality Control (QC) responsibilities, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Train and work in Egg Room, Hatch Crew, and Service Room, rotating as needed.
- Perform Quality Control (QC) duties, ensuring all processes meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory tracking.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Use basic math skills to complete daily tasks accurately.
- Operate with attention to detail and follow safety protocols.
- Assist with other hatchery duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable to different tasks
