Company and Role:

Dedicated Tech SAP HCM Systems Integration Consultant. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between Successfactors Onboarding 2.0, SAP HCM and our OnBase systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Successfactors Onboarding 2.0, Successfactors Integration center, SAP HCM, and possibly SAP PO. We are also looking for someone with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced SAP HCM Systems Integration Consultant to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee to join our team. You will:


  • Lead Onboarding 2.0 Project: Oversee the design, development, and configuration of integrations between SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, SAP HCM, and OnBase.
  • Integration Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize standard integrations provided by SAP and SuccessFactors to meet business needs.
  • Business Requirement Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for integration solutions.
  • Custom Integration Development: Develop and maintain custom integrations, including transformation logic and error handling as necessary.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform all levels of testing, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Monitor Integration Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize integration performance to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Documentation: Document integration processes, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and progress in detail.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Train functional and technical resources on integration maintenance and provide ongoing support to end-users.
  • Project Participation & Planning: Actively participate in project planning and attend all related project meetings, ensuring alignment with objectives and milestones.
  • Self-Directed Execution: Be assigned Request Items, Tasks, and Projects to complete independently and semi-independently, ensuring all requirements are clearly understood and executed.
  • Development Coordination: Coordinate and execute all development activities, including reports, integrations, interfaces, conversion programs, database design, and enhancements.
  • Azure DevOps Documentation: Document detailed requirements or user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO) and track progress effectively.
  • Technical Functions: Handle configurations, coding, testing, data loads, and scripting as required.
  • Testing & Validation: Perform Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance testing in accordance with the PTC’s IT Quality Management Playbook.
  • Peer Review & Deployment: Work with the PTC system administration team for code peer review and deployment into production environments.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide guidance and support to the application support team and assist in troubleshooting integration-related issues.
  • Collaboration & Relationships: Build and maintain productive relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.
  • Adhere to PTC Standards: Follow all PTC standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance throughout all project phases.



Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of experience with SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0.
  • 5 years of experience with SuccessFactors Integration Center related to Onboarding 2.0 or SAP HCM.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Central Mini-Master, Onboarding 2.0 portlets, and Onboarding 2.0 HRIS Elements.
  • Experience integrating SuccessFactors APIs using third-party integration tools such as Informatica or SAP PO.
  • Proven experience transferring Onboarding data to external HRIS systems (especially SAP ECC).
  • In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors Onboarding processes and integration techniques.
  • Experience using integrations to send documents from SuccessFactors to document management systems like OnBase.
  • ServiceNow Experience in ITSM, Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both functional and technical team members.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Successfactors and/or SAP HCM certifications is a plus.
  • Experience working with SAP PO is a plus.
  • Experience with ABAP development is a plus.
