You will manage and optimize the client’s Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting a range of enterprise applications. This role requires advanced expertise in Linux administration, automation, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

Job Description:
We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator to join our team as a direct W2 employee. This role involves managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across development, testing, and production environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers in various environments.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency.
- Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
- Configure and maintain Red Hat Satellite, Identity Management (IdM), and related tools.
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance with security standards and protect systems against vulnerabilities.
- Manage storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support application teams with Linux deployment best practices.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
- Setup Network File System (NFS) and mount points.
- Configure Chron jobs for both systems and applications.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
- 10 years of experience administering Red Hat Linux systems.
- 10 years of experience with Unix (AIX) on IBM pSeries.
- 15 years of overall experience in the Information Technology (IT) field.
