We have an immediate full-time opening for a Robotic Automation Engineer at our rapidly expanding company. In this role, the engineer will be tasked with programming, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced robotic systems utilized in automated welding processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Using Fanuc robot programming language to create precise robot movements for welding applications, including path planning, joint configurations, and speed control.
2. Regularly checking and adjusting robot parameters to ensure accuracy and optimal performance, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
3. Analyzing welding processes and part geometries to design efficient robot cell layouts and optimize welding parameters.
4. Performing other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Thorough understanding of Fanuc robot programming language, including motion control, data manipulation, and error handling.
2. Familiarity with different welding processes (Low carbon steel and aluminum, mainly)
3. Drawing interpretation.
