Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Campground Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a few main functions: problem solving & handling issues as they arise, and being the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable. You will handle reservations, manage the campground office, and provide exceptional customer service to guarantee guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Warmly welcome guests and campground visitors, answering questions and providing information about our facilities and services.
- Communication: Answer phones promptly and professionally, delivering efficient and friendly service.
- Office Operations: Manage the campground office, including sales, stocking, merchandising, making reservations, and assigning campsites.
- Point-of-Sale: Operate the point-of-sale system and cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Promotion: Promote campground services, facilities, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Issue Resolution: Address minor guest concerns and inform management of significant issues, complaints, or disturbances.
- Daily Tasks: Perform daily tasks such as campground walkthroughs, guest check-ins/outs, and documenting adjustments, refunds, and bookings.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional image through appearance, behavior, and dress.
- Cleanliness: Assist in keeping the campground office, store, and guest areas clean, neat, and tidy.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support campground operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in basic computer functionality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
