Concrete Finisher

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and the ability to perform various tasks related to the finishing of concrete surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet both aesthetic and structural standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring and finishing.
• Grading & Install base to correct level
• Forming
• Pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively for shaping and finishing concrete surfaces.
• Finish surfaces using various techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and polishing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in concrete work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to construction projects.
• Excellent physical condition with the stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on larger projects.
• Previous experience in carpentry or related fields is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
