Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to assist with both the distribution of seafood products and the handling/processing of fresh seafood. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering seafood to local restaurants and markets, ensuring products are properly handled and safely transported. You will also assist with processing and packaging fish and seafood products, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• 85% Delivery of Seafood: Safely transport fresh seafood to restaurants, markets, and other clients in a timely manner. Ensure that all deliveries are completed in accordance with food safety standards.
• 15% Fish Processing: Handle, clean, and butcher fresh fish and seafood as needed. Prepare orders for customers, ensuring quality and proper packaging.

Other Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment. This includes washing tools, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping inventory well-stocked.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients during deliveries, ensuring that all products arrive in good condition and that customer inquiries are addressed professionally.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols related to the handling and transportation of seafood products, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and coworkers.

Requirements:

• Fish Cleaning/Butchering Experience: Prior experience in fish cleaning, butchering, or food handling is preferred. A passion for seafood and understanding of proper food safety standards is essential.
• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• Reliable & Responsible: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Stamina: This position requires lifting, carrying, and loading heavy boxes of seafood. Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong Work Ethic: We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and maintains a positive attitude even in challenging situations.
• Flexible Availability: Must be willing to work 40–50 hours per week, including weekends and early morning hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in the seafood industry or food distribution is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of local delivery routes and area is an advantage.
