Class A CDL Driver
Local to Midland/Odessa, TX area
The Class A Commercial Driver is responsible for moving oil field fleet equipment safely between locations. This is a "home daily" position but requires substantial travel on a scheduled basis with on-call expectations.

Skills & Abilities
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience: 1 - 3 years verifiable work experience with heavy equipment and/or over the road vehicles along with basic mechanical abilities to work in shop area and location as needed. Heavy haul and previous oilfield experience a plus.
- Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, meet minimum driving standards for company insurance purposes, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and DOT physical.
Duties
- Must maintain a valid CDL-A license with a good record and no major violations.
- Drive company equipment as needed, including hot shots as required.
- Complete tasks in the shop areas as requested by management.
- Perform complete pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment to reduce/eliminate breakdowns.
- Must be able to operate safely within high traffic/congested areas as well as very rural areas.
- Complete log book and other paperwork meeting all DOT and company record keeping requirements.
- Adhere to published CDL driver schedule and effectively communicate changes, requests for time off, etc. to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies, guidelines, and initiatives at all times.
- Other project as assigned by management.
