Torque and Test Technician

Wage Range: $21.00 - $28.00 (levels based on experience)

Schedule: Local or Rotational - Out of Town; Day, Evening, Night Shifts, Weekend and Holidays Required.
Experience: Must have prior relevant experience.
Work Location: Work locations will vary around the Midland, TX shop and remote worksites in the surrounding area. All new hire training will be based in Zelienople, PA.
Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical. Must have a valid photo ID. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record to meet minimum insurance requirements.
Work Environment is non-traditional. Frequent trips to remote job sites will require working in a variety of potentially harsh weather conditions.
The Torque and Test Technician is responsible for the make up of BOP equipment connection and pressure testing BOP equipment.
Duties
Drives required equipment safely to and from location
Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Maintaining customer service satisfaction
Clean and maintain applicable equipment and tools during and after use
Report any vehicle or trailer repairs to appropriate individuals and any other concern or safety related issues
Ability to follow directions or the ability to use navigation equipment if needed to the work site
Maintain and properly utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as: hardhat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, Flame Resistant clothing, and gloves.
Responsible for always ensuring a safe work environment.
Adhere to all company policy and procedure, guidelines and SOPs

Skills & Abilities
Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years verifiable work experience, basic mechanical abilities to work in shop area and location as needed. Prior mechanical experience is preferred.
Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age, maintain a valid drivers license, and possess a clean driving record to meet minimum company standards for insurance purposes. Must also successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
