Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Mentor: Define the AI team’s vision, mentor members, and align AI initiatives with company goals.
- Develop & Deploy: Build end-to-end AI solutions addressing key challenges in molecular biology.
- Innovate & Scale: Rapidly prototype AI-driven solutions and transition them into scalable production systems.
- Collaborate: Work with biologists and physicists to develop hybrid AI solutions.
- Hire & Build Culture: Attract AI and computational biology talent while fostering collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in start ups or resource-limited environments.
- Expertise in Python, PyTorch, Linux, Bash, and Git/GitHub.
- Strong ML knowledge, including generative models and LLMs.
- Leadership experience balancing mentorship and hands-on work.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g., AWS) and high-performance computing.
