What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Marketing position at DeepVu?
This role is based in Canada. The Head of Marketing is a key role that will report to the CEO and work very closely with the CRO and the rest of the leadership team. We're looking for a senior candidate with entrepreneurial drive and thought leadership to drive inbound and outbound marketing programs. You need to be passionate about autonomous supply chains and driving manufacturing efficiencies and sustainability.
The bottom line is that we think job descriptions are BS, and we'd rather excite you about your impact at our company. We expect you to quadruple our traffic within 6 months and then double it again within 12 months. We'd also expect you to double our website conversion rate within 6 months of joining, and quadruple it within 18 months. If that's exciting and within your reach, we'd be excited to meet very soon.
The ideal candidate would have :
- Broad and deep experience in marketing or product management within consumer goods manufacturing or e-commerce ecosystems.
- Experience in inbound and outbound roles.
- Prior B2B startup experience as well as direct experience leading marketing teams including messaging, positioning, social media strategies, and go-to-market for a V1.0 product.
- Experience leading early lead gen and sales channel development (direct and indirect).
- Natural leadership skills, a calm demeanor, and a track record of successfully delivering disruptive products to market.
