Neighborhood Security Officer (Flex)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, patrols done regularly, and meticulous documentation.

Duties

• Learn the community covenants and restrictions as well as follow any Board or Executive Director requests in regards to security patrol.
• Conduct walking and drive-through inspection of the neighborhood and common area.
• Conduct at least two driving patrols throughout the neighborhood during each shift
• Answer resident phone calls, notate concerns, and follow up per protocol.
• Accurately document and record all incidents of note and follow up per protocol.
• Note all properties for sale and for rent with agent name and number
• Note ongoing projects in progress for ARC verification
• Deliver letters to homeowners in regards to violation or registration issues
• Submit daily activity reports, scans, and other reports as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• GED or highschool diploma
• Valid Driver’s License & Car Insurance
• AESBL Unarmed Guard Certification
• Proficient in phone and software technology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Time management and critical prioritization skills
• Must represent the organization in a positive and professional manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
