What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Deer Creek Lodge and Conference Center?
JOB SUMMARY: CERTIFICATION CLASS WILL BE MAY 19TH AT 10AM AT DEER CREEK LODGE
To ensure water safety for all guests in a professional manner at the pool areas.
End of the Summer Bonus*: .50/hr for every hour worked during the season
*Bonus is dependent upon employment for the entirety of our Summer season (Memorial Day- 2 weeks post Labor Day)
CERTIFICATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
CPR, AED and Lifeguarding
- Certification Fee will be reimbursed dependent upon employment for the entirety of our Summer season (Memorial Day- 2 weeks post Labor Day)
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Basic education at high school level.
- Prefer knowledge in pool maintenance and/or lifeguard experience.
- Must be able to occasionally bend/stoop, squat, kneel and push/pull and lift upwards of 100 lbs at any given point.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs daily.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and other shifts as necessary.
- Must be able to perform tasks in a safe manner and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations.
