Grounds Attendant

This position is located at Deer Lodge Medical Center in Deer Lodge, MT. Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall care and ongoing maintenance of the facility, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.

This is a seasonal position. Hours are very flexible up to 20 hours/week. Starting wage $18/hr DOE. Must have knowledge of zero turn lawn mowers, lawn edging equipment, basic hand tools and underground sprinkler system usage and maintenance. Job duties are care and upkeep of exterior grounds to include lawn mowing, edging, and sprinkler care and upkeep. Great seasonal job with flexible hours!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Knowledge of lawn maintenance

Requirements:

The individual must be able to perform unsupervised. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job successfully.

• Use zero turn mowers
• Use lawn edging equipment
• Use basic hand tools
• Knowledge of proper lawn care (irrigation, weed management, nutrition)
• Ability to do sprinkler replacement and maintain lawn watering schedules
• Attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Care and upkeep of the exterior grounds of the facility

· Cut all grass areas

· Sprinkler care and upkeep

· Edging of all lawn areas

· Assisting with flower bed turnovers

· Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 19 per week
