We are looking to hire FULL TIME to join our team! Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
Requirements:
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
- Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age. High School Diploma (GED or equivalent) required
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid are required within 90 days of employment, as provided by DMRC, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and care standards.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Employee must be physically and mentally able to perform essential job functions which may require constant standing and walking; some lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing carts and wheelchairs.
- Experience with geriatric population preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead activity programs as scheduled,
- May be required to work with and care for community animals
- Maintain documentation as required by Federal and State Regulations C
- Orient services to residents of varying mental or physical functioning levels and interest.
- Plan, organize interact and present recreational programs in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct all assigned duties as requested unless circumstances prevail that are documented.
