What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Instructional Aide~ 3 Hour position at DEER PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT?
Deer Park School District is in need of three hour non-instructional aide
Duties Include:
Monitoring students throughout lunch and recess during 3-hour shift
- Supervision of students, as assigned, for recess and lunch time. Effectively manage behavior to maintain a safe lunch and/or recess experience
- Ensure safety of students
- Provide focused and guided supervision of students
- Use appropriate tone and language when addressing students and listen to student concerns
- Assist with restroom breaks, cafeteria needs, etc.
- Promote good social relationships between children
- Maintain respect at all times for confidential information
- Interact in a positive manner with staff, students
Skills:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed in the company
