POSITION:  General Application for Job Fair Candidtates

SALARY RANGE: Licensed Staff Salary Schedule plus School District Comprehensive Benefits Package.  Salary Range starts at $46,000 depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for coaching, extra-duty responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

• License: Colorado teacher license and all teacher requirements of school, district and state.
• Relevant Teaching Experience: History of successful teaching.
• Computer and Office Machines Skills: Demonstrated ability to learn and apply computer and office machines technology skills rapidly.
• Language Skills: Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, parents or staff. Ability to speak effectively before students and staff.
• Interpersonal Skills: Works well with others from diverse backgrounds. Focuses on solving conflict; maintaining confidentiality; listening to others without interrupting; remaining open to others’ ideas and contributing to building a positive team spirit.
• Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to appropriately communicate with students, teachers, administrators and others including vendors. Ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with frequent interruptions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Limited teacher housing available through Deer Trail 26J
• All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the BOE.
• Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment.
• No smoking is allowed in any Deer Trail 26J buildings.
• Selected applicant must comply with the District's Drug-Free Workplace policy.
